Broadband keeps dropping out

Over the last couple of days my broadband keeps dropping out. Display says Wi-Fi  connected but no internet. Is there a problem with my router which I have had for 5 years approximately. Please advise as this is so frustrating. Thank you.

Hi Andy,

 

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on your line now which is clear. Is there any noise on the voice service? Is your router currently connected to the test socket?

Hi there. My broadband again keeps dropping out. One minute its there and the next out again. Over the passed week it's been so unreliable. Is it down to Openreach who are causing this issue? I'm really fed up with this. I've rebooted my router so many times I've lost count.

Also I'm still waiting to be offered fibre. I live in a city and can't understand why this is taking so long.  I would appreciate any advice.

Hi Andy,

 

I'm sorry to hear this. Can I just confirm, is this happening on all devices or certain devices in particular? Does it automatically re-connect again on it's own?
