A few weeks ago I was also experiencing random connection drops throughout the day. I had an engineer appointment arranged who, when visited, confirmed as I thought that there was no obvious issue with my equipment. I was extremely angry to learn I had been charged for the appointment as no fault was found but as I said to him there’s been loads of road works in my village which could easily be the culprit. The appointment was initiated by support, it’s not like I personally asked for a visit. Anyway fast forward to today I have no internet and surprise surprise the support bots want to send another engineer out. You can understand my reluctance to do this if it comes back up before they arrive and I get charged another £70. I’ve been with talk talk for many years but with this recent poor service I think I’ll be leaving next year. There’s no internet light on the modem so this feels to me like it’s dead connection, especially as I have also tried an alternative modem cable also.

Ofc it just started working again as I posted my message, albeit only getting 18.6 on a 150 fibre line..
