Broadband speed

Hello, 

I would like to ask, is it possible to upgrade from my current broadband deal in order to get a faster connection? Unfortunately, every time I run the availability checker it comes up with quite slow broadband deals that are similar to the one I currently have. Can I upgrade and remain a customer of TalkTalk, or would it be necessary to change the provider in order to get faster broadband?

If you log into My Account, there should be a tab for offers and upgrades.

Can I just check, what speed are you currently receiving when running speed tests?

You can be limited by your line's capacity, distance from the exchange etc, @VictoriaBournazou.

As Fibre to the Premises gets rolled out, you might get something much better, but you need to wait for Talktalk to be teamed up with the guys putting it in, and there needs to be capacity at the exchange too.

You don't say what you are currently on.

For staff to look into this, add your Talktalk landline number to your community forum profile ddetails. Go via your avatar/name; settings; Personal Information. SAVE CHANGES.
