Early termination information

Hi, I was looking for basic information to be on my way to cancel my TalkTalk Broadband. My current contract ends in August (18 month contract if I remember correctly) but I intend to shift to BT early. I'm looking for any information on: who to contact (I assume telephone or email), early termination fees, time it would take to shift broadbands, the hassle, etc.
