Engineering call yesterday

I received a call yesterday regarding replacement of new router and a refund.  The call lasted for up to 4 hours adjusting on my iPad.  Was this  a scam?

 

I have cancelled my credit cards but I pad not working as before.

I was initially told an engineer would come today at 10.00.

 

I am very stressed please reply and give me a telephone number so I can resolve this.

It does appear to be a scam, there are no notes regarding any faults on your line, If you are unsure the call is genuine best option is to hang up and call us back.

What was the number that called?

 

Did you allow "remote viewing" etc?

 

Wise to block all cards. Check for viruses and malware.
