Extender problems again

Hi. My TalkTalk Extender set seems to be faulty. I have had other sets in the past and this one has been fine for a while but over the weekend it stopped working and I had no Powerline light at all on either unit. I tried moving the extender next to the network connector but still nothing happened.

The Wi-Fi is still there but all I get on my PC is a download speed of 6Mbps. Please help!

Thank you Keith, I know you have helped me a lot in the past. You are right, I have been sent replacement extenders by the support staff and I am hopeful they will respond in the same way again.

Hi @silvergirl 

 

The fact that the powerline light is not on, even when the two units are next to each other, does indeed sound like they are faulty. If my memory serves me well (it probably doesn't because I get involved in quite a few extender issues), didn't you get them replaced via the TalkTalk support staff on here, rather than the TalkTalk Store?

 

Anyway, I will ask TalkTalk to get involved in this case.
