Hi guys, I've been searching for fast and reliable router for a long time, finally I got one from ebay. Unfortunately the firmware is very old and has some issues. How can I receive an update? I'm not a TalkTalk customer, so I was thinking an automatic update from the network is not possible. Very sadly, with no update that great piece of electronics will become a junk 😞 Please HELP!!

When customers leave, they need to return the router to Talktalk to avoid a £50.00 fine, @cnupo.
That's enough to make most comply, but I suppose if you paid £62.00 for it on Ebay, you have covered their costs....
Best to avoid that market place for this sort of thing, because you'll keep running into that problem of the router being locked to a network.

@Gliwmaeden2, not an economy, haven't had an idea it's a provider's router... 62 £, what a bummer..

Probably best to just take it along to the nearest recycling centre, @cnupo..... sounds like it was a false economy.
