Firmware update needed?

Hi,

I'm experiencing what appears to be a known TT problem, in that I cannot add any port forwarding nor can I make any firewall port changes.  I'm trying to see internal CCTV from the Internet"  This was working before I upgraded to the new Sagecom FAST5364 3.00  (Software SG4K100136)  When ever I try to add a rule or make a change I get an error message "something wrong happened"

I've seen a few other mentions that this may be a known problem if your network is setup as something like 192.168.0.1 - 254  which mine is!!   because have have a second router with a network using 192.168.1.1 already.   (configured from the TT modem via cable to the WAN port of an ASUS router)

So does anyone know if this is fixed in a new firmware release?  Or should I change the ip ranges around so  the TT has 1.1 and the Asus uses 0.1??  Would that work.

Cheers,

Paul.

Hi Debbie, I have got it all working now, so I can see my cctv externally as before.

I can't say whether the firmware upgrade was absolutely needed along with the "factory reset" back to the default 1.1 network config or not, because we did the update first and it didn't solve the problem on its own.

Many thanks for the teams assistance.

Paul.

I’ve managed to get it reset and my network all reconnected.

I can now make additions to the port forwarding and firewall settings which stick without error messages.

tomorrow I’ll check if that functionality is actually working.

cheers,

paul.

It's stopping me from making any network changes whatsoever.  So here I tried to set a Pi as a DMZ but that also fails.

Thanks Chris.  I can now see the new firmware number.  However the original issue is still there in that I cannot add a port forward rule.

Hi Paul

I'm not sure if this fix is included but I can update the firmware for you. When would be the best time to do this?

We advise to leave the router switched on without being rebooted whilst we update the FW.

Thanks

Debbie
