Good afternoon,
We are encouraged to keep our PC security systems up to date but according to many sites WPA2 is now considered insecure to hacking and we should be switching to Transitional WPA2/WPA3 or WPA3 (introduced in 2018). Researchers in 2021 reported that FragAttack could affect most modems which I assume included the Fast 5364.
Could you please verify that TalkTalk have issued a patch for FragAttack and when Firmware updates allowing the use of WPA3 will be rolled out.
In the past I have used TP-Link modems which were up-to-date but when I had a problem a couple of years ago TT insisted that I use the 5364 modem whilst resolving the problem and the 5364 was actually better so the TP-Link went back in its box.
Kind regards

So your saying that your routers are secure on wifi but everyone knows that the only secure encryption for wifi is WPA3 talk talk routers are pathetic when it comes to wifi security so much so that some one with a tech interest can hack your wifi in a matter of minutes. im in a situation where a neighbour is hacking my wifi within minutes and throttling my bandwith by 80% and before you say its me and my passwords im using random long passwords made up of letters upper and lower and numbers and this guy is able to hack them in a matter of minutes the only way to keep this criminal off my wifi is to turn off my wifi completely he also uses different mac addresses to log on the fact of the matter is talk talk routers are just to basic and cheap im my opinion not fit for purpose. why dont you guys at talk talk get your act together this has pssd me off so much im really thinking of cancelling my contract with talk talk and going with another ISP that takes wifi encrytion serious your loss. wish i could say good words about talk talk but im totally disgusted with their blatant disregard for wifi security.
a soon to be ex talk talk customer.

Hi malcolmv24
As Keith says, none of our current routers support WPA3 as this is a new technology and not all current routers will support this.
as to your other questions, our devices Teams make sure our routers are fully secure and protected and any firmware is fully tested.
Thanks
Karl.

Currently, no TalkTalk router supports WPA3. I will ask TalkTalk to comment on your concerns for you.
