How to Enable Remote Access Control for DG8041w
is this possible to do as i have a HDD connected and want to be able to connect to retrieve files will i am away from Home.

It is impossible as such. The only way is to use something like Remote Desktop & RDP into a PC on your local LAN & use your web browser on there to manage it.
