Good morning
Early morning yesterday, at around 3am noticed I had red light on above router which appeared to resolve itself by around 7am
No further problems with Internet yesterday
But red light back firmly with me since 6am today, no sign of shifting despite resetting router, turning it off and on (about the extent of my router /Internet fix knowledge)
Look forward to help, suggestions
Thanks so much : )

Thanks Michelle - yes service rectified and fully working by midday
Different responses as diagnostics/cause from adviser Amanda telling me that all internet users in London were affected in exactly same way (untrue;) to text from Talk talk - at end of 15 minute diagnostic testing period - which told me that my broadband looked like it was working as it should be but to go to service centre should I continue to suffer any problems - this sent to me when neither internet nor landline were displaying any signs of life whatsoever.
Noticeable disparity in responses - don't think I'll listen too closely to either in future;
Thanks for your help : )

Hi nicky62,
Just to confirm, your router is connected to the test socket via a micro-filter?

Morning,
I'm sorry to hear this. The line test has detected a loop fault which can sometimes be caused by internal wiring or equipment connected to the line. Does your main socket have a test socket please?
Thanks
