I have to restart my router throughout the day to reconnect to the internet. This is a new problem only for the last week, I have changed nothing in my home regarding devices connections etc. Done line test via Talk Talk website and it says all ok. I need connection to work,  whats happening!!!

Hi @Jeffl

If the white light remains on the router when the connection drops then this fault will likely be linked to the below:

This is the latest update on this fault.

Update 8:40PM  December 17th 2024 - Our team are in the process of applying a solution to all impacted Wi-Fi Hubs and aim to resolve this by tomorrow morning.

Hi Michele , to answer your question no and no. I don’t use the landline 📞 very often but no noise on the line. Still experiencing the same issue had to restart router three times today. This is an unacceptable disruption to the service.

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear this. The line test has detected a potential line fault (Battery Fault). Are you experiencing any issues with the voice service such as noise on the line or no dial tone please? Does your main socket also have a test socket?

Thanks

Michelle

Openreach say they have issues in various regions.

Please see here for details.

Are you in one of these areas perhaps?
