Hi Nanny48, if you're problem isn't yet fixed please reboot your router and it should restore normal service.

I suspect @Pedro26 was merely sharing their own experience, they have their own thread here:

Hi,
Please start your own thread as each case is considered unique and it is easier for support to be given to one person per thread and also less confusing.
I see you have posted on other peoples threads. Please just stick to your own. Thank you.
To start your thread click the Browse button, then Help With Your Service and select the appropriate category. You will then see a Blue Button "Start A Topic"
Please also note that you should only post back on that thread and not start another on the same topic as multiple posts cause delay to you and others seeking help.
Thank you

Hi,
I have had this problem since Tuesday, Talktalk technical have not been able to sort it to date. I get a message a secure connection cannot be established. A community star suggested using a vpn. It wouldn’nt let me go to the proton vpn site, to obtain a vpn, same message about couldn’t establish a secure connection. Anyway, I turned off wifi, set my phone as a mobile hotspot with blue tooth on and connected my iPad to my mobile. I could then access the proton vpn site, and as recommended by pc mag, signed up for a free account. After signing up and installing the proton vpn app, connecting to the fastest server in the Netherlands, I could then surf to the lottery site without issues. Turn the vpn off and the problem came straight back, trying to access any of these websites.

Staff here can sort this, but they are not back until Monday.
One customer managed to get this to work by turning their router off for 30 minutes minimum, so that might be worth trying.
You are in the staff's queue for a response if it does not work.
For a quicker reply can you please ensure you have your personal information up to date in your profile including your TalkTalk landline phone number so your account can be traced. Link here - https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile:personal-info
If you are unsure of your phone number, you can find this in My Account or dial 17070 from your landline phone and this will confirm the number for you.
You can also add your account number in the private notes field, which only you and the support staff can view.
Please post back when done.
Thank you
