New iPhone not connecting to wifi

the wifi is working fine on other devices. it says it connected in the wifi setting but its not coming up next to the dynamic display as using the wifi but it is connected? on my talk talk account it says the device is a bunch of numbers with a mobile icon with a question mark in the centre? 

 

Ive reset my router, restarted my phone, disconnected and manually added the wifi on my new phone. im not sure what else to do

Hi there @Trmwhite, sometimes it's due to multiple devices connected at the same time. This tends to be an issue when you try connecting a new device, you can just test by disconnecting some devices and try connecting. Thanks😇

If other devices are connecting ok, why do you think this is an issue with the TalkTalk router?

 

It may be, but have you also asked the question on the apple forum as it could be a phone issue?

 

I've not seen issues with iphones not connecting so may be worth googling or asking other Apple users.
