New router to replace end of life Zyxel / PO Broadband router

Hi,


I have the same problem as someone posted back in October: I need a new router, as the ZYXEL AMG1302-T11C provided by Post Office Broadband is end of life and has known security vulnerabilities.

  • Please could you help, or let me know if I should use the account/tech chat instead?
  • My tech savvy son-in-law is helping me to troubleshoot our intermittent internet connection, and this old/insecure router is the first thing we need to sort out before moving onto the other bits of the connection.
  • If you need more details please let me know. TT account number should be in my profile.

Thank you for the thorough explanation and for completing your profile details. There still seems to be a bit of confusion whether former PO/Shell Energy customers can be directly supported via the community, or not. Hopefully the support team here can arrange a simple router replacement for you, they should respond tomorrow morning. 

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries.
