Why am I not able to get assistance to get Internet to my home. Router has just gone off to error light.
Followed all automated suggestions. Tried to contact in live chat but no response. Why do we have to pay for such a poor service?

They close live chat at 7pm on Saturdays, @Rooo1, so probably start winding up cases and not replying a bit before that.

Go via your avatar, settings, drop down menu....add your Talktalk phone number or account number in Personal Information. Useful also to give a mobile number. Scroll down to SAVE CHANGES.
