Hello
i have received an email on 24/02/22 from 'info@openreach.talktalk.co.uk' saying that future fibre broadband is being rolled out and "we've arranged for an engineer from out partners Openreach to install in in your home".
I have also received multiple text messages from '07786 202608' saying that it's Openreach on behalf of TalkTalk and that they will be coming to upgrade my service.
They said that my upgrade will be free of charge and that my contract and extra servcies won't change.
1) Can someone from the TalkTalk team please tell me if this is legitimate or if it is a scam?
2) If it isn't a scam, will i still be able to use my landline when the new full fibre Broadband is installed?
3) Is there also anything else i need to about the full fibre broadband for my household?
4) Will there actually be no changes to my contract?

Hi Saif Ali, yes the messages are genuine. If you reply to the sms you'll be booking the engineer to do the installation.

I got a similar email, and contacted TT, it's free but it's a new 18 month contract apparently. I've asked to speak to an engineer regarding how my home would be accessed and am waiting on a reply. Hope this helps
