The power supply connecting my router to the mains is breaking. The wire is starting to become exposed. How do I go about replacing it? The model number is 48120100-B2

Hi @RubyEllis

Thank you 🙂

The new router and cables are on the way and a returns bag for your current router.

Please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive. Let us know how you get on.

Thanks again.

Hi @RubyEllis

I'm sorry to hear this.

Please can you add your name and TalkTalk landline number to your Community Profile, I can then send you a replacement router.

Thanks

I assume that you mean the HG633 or HG635? Either way, they are no longer available. TT will send you the current TT WiFi Hub.

I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and investigate it for you.

They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first.

To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, broadband phone number & if possible an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture then click on "My Settings" followed by:-

Personal Profile > Personal Information

Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.

Yes, but if you tell me the make/model of the router I can get TalkTalk to replace it for you. The new router will come with another replacement power unit.

Is that the model number of the power unit? It is the make/model of the router that is required as the power unit is not available separately, TalkTalk will replace the router & PSU as one.
