My talk talk cable has failed, the router is pretty old, had it for ages, do I need to buy new power supply or will talktalk supply?

So I found it confusing posting on this forum, I had no internet, due to router failure so had to use my talktalk mobile data, lost all my data allowance over Sunday & Monday trying to get in touch with talktalk ( couldn’t manage to speak to a human by phone) but deflated now
