Hi,

I'm looking to find a way of using a third part router.

I was hoping to be able to out my current router into bridge or modem mode?

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Craig

Thanks for the replies. I want to use a seperate rotuer because of the number of devices I have and teh advanced features offered by the netgear router I was looking at. This router isnt available with built in ADSL/VDSL.

@Craig01988 no TT routers or Hubs can be put into modem-only mode.

If you want to use a third-party router with built-in ADSL/VDSL modem then you can connect it to your broadband socket directly. If you just want a separate router, then I would ask "why?"

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.
