ROUTER STOPPED WORKING
yesterday
Message 10 of 10
I recently (10 days ago) got a router from Talktalk and it had been working ok (a little spotty but I expected that in the first few days) until yesterday when it turned off and wouldn't turn back on.
I tried a diagnosis and it said it was working fine (clearly this isn't true).
How do I go about getting a replacement one so I can have WiFi again. I work from home so WiFi is key to my day to day operations.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Arthur

Hi Arthur
Thank you 🙂
The router is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.
Let us know how the connection compares with the new router.

HI Arthur
Do you have your TalkTalk account number? (please can you only add this to your Community Profile, not on this thread)

Hi Debbie,
I don't think I have a landline as I only got the WiFi deal.
I'd be happy to send over my address privately if that works for you.
Let me know what's best and I'd love to get this sorted.
Thank you,
Arthur

Hi Arthur @ArthurW01
Thanks for your reply.
Please can you also add your TalkTalk landline or account number to your Community Profile, I can then locate your details and send you a replacement router.
Debbie 🙂

Hi Debbie,
Thanks for reaching out so fast.
I did try the factory reset to no avail I'm afraid.
I have added my name and phone number to my account as requested.
Thank you,
Arthur

Hi Arthur @ArthurW01
I'm sorry to hear this.
Have you also tried a factory reset (pin hole reset for ten seconds)
Please can you add your name and TalkTalk landline number to your Community Profile.
Thanks
Debbie
