For queries about your TalkTalk broadband service.

I've just been on a chat with TalkTalk for nearly 2 hours but we have made little progress and the test that are being carried out by the agent seem to be rather irrelevant, so I'm turning to this forum to see if I can get any clearer support.
My router has been crashing once every day or two which is obviously frustrating. I recently switched to TT from another provider (that use the same wire) and had no issues. When it crashes, the blue LED on the front of the router starts flashing orange and I cannot access the router via Wifi or Ethernet (no response to 192.168.1.1), even if I plug my laptop direct to the router. To recover the issue, I turn the router off for a few seconds and turn it on again.
We've got lots of connected devices in our house (Home Assistant user!) but this didn't cause an issue with our previous router.
Is this what I should expect from a TalkTalk router? The router is a Huawei DG8041W-2. T5. The firmware appears to be up to date.
