Router Failure

My router stopped resolving DNS and was consistently returning error pages although I was still online. Intermittently it wouls suddenly starty working again for an hour or two then just as suddenly start returning DNS resolution errors. I went online (when I could) and tried all the suggested tests and remedies, but still it would not function properly. Giving up, I then re connected my old TalkTalk router, and had absolutely no further problems connecting to web sites. Would you please send a replacement working router or will I have to make do with my old one?

Hi Mistaron

I'm sorry to hear this.

Please can you add your name and TalkTalk landline number to your Community Profile, we can then look into this further.

Thanks

Debbie

@Mistaron, I'll move this to Broadband for you, as it's not a billing matter.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.
