My router is constantly resetting and losing all settings which is very problematic for connected WiFi devices. The duration between resets is quite sporadic, sometimes I get a few days of continuity and other times it resets multiple times in a day. Please advise.

I've been using the new router for a few days now and it seems to have resolved my issues. Thank you for both of your help!

That is even more ancient, let's get it changed out.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - TalkTalk Help & Support

Is your router the DG8041W by any chance, as this can reboot itself without notice? The only solution is to change it to a Sagemcom FAST 5364. If you have any other router including the 5364, then perhaps it is faulty.

I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and investigate it for you.

They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first.
