My Sagemcom router is not connecting to internet,I have been in touch with talktalk but after all suggestions to try it still will not connect.
I have had an engineer to check ,but he said it works at master socket but not at extension socket 5 mtrs away, his test phone works at extension socket but not the talktalk router,He exchanged all cables and filters,power supply connections at master and extension socket but still the router did not work. His conclusion was to run the router by wifi at master socket which is not feasable due to lack of space packed up his tools and left.
How ever I have been loaned a TP-Link 7D01 router and that connects and works perfectly at the extension socket, I can unplug and retry and The TP-link 7D01 connects straight away.
Do I go and purchase or is there any thing else I coild try

yes please Debbie, I would be very grateful to get my talktalk router working. I can then give my loan router back to my son
