My central heating gateway which is plugged in to port 3 of my router is flashing red meaning that is not communicating with the remote thermostat and timer.Gateway mfr Salus say its a Talk Talk issue and TT sat it's Salus prob.Anyone else either had or fixed this problem?

Has this previously been working ok? Which router do you have please? (make and model)

What have you tried to rectify?

 

Try rebooting your router, and turning off for 30 mins. You can also try resetting it whilst plugged in using the pinhole reset.

 

Other than that follow any troubleshooting for the heating. Try resetting it if not done do already.

 

If other devices are working with the router then it may well be the device plugged in.
