I have been unable to log into a website for over a week now. I need this website for work and everyone else in the company can access it. I have tried all of the things that are recommended online but still nothing. I have turned my router off for 30 minutes but again, nothing. Please help.
This is the error message I am getting on my windows network adadper troublehshooter:

Do you have any active monitoring for life threatening health reasons which is solely dependent upon your TalkTalk Broadband or Telephone line?
For example a care alarm, lifeline, health pendant or fall detector.

Can you do this while I'm working? If not it will have to be after 5pm.

We will need to complete diagnostic checks to detect the problem, will this be okay with you? as you have stated you are currently working
on 20-10-2025 11:10 AM
Yes I'm at home but I'm currently working.

Ok, thanks for trying.
You are in the staff's queue for a response. They are back tomorrow.
What is the website address that you cant access? Can you put this in your private notes field (see later) so staff can look into.
For a quicker reply can you please ensure you have your personal information up to date in your profile including your TalkTalk landline phone number so your account can be traced. Link here - https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile:personal-info
If you are unsure of your phone number, you can find this in My Account or dial 17070 from your landline phone and this will confirm the number for you.
You can also add your account number in the private notes field, which only you and the support staff can view.
Please post back when done.
Thank you

I've tried changing the DNS as advised but the issue is still happening, with the same error message.

Hi,
Have you tried changing the DNS servers on your router to something like Google's?
if not, log in to your TalkTalk router's admin page, find the DNS settings, and manually enter the Google DNS addresses: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
Note though that if you use home safe this will not work as the TalkTalk settings are required for this.
If it works it confirms that it is the TalkTalk dns servers blocking this. It may be that they have found, or think they have found malware in the site and so blocked this.
If you do use Homesafe, try adding the website to your exceptions list.
Hope this helps.
