Hi, I’ve been working from home for a while without any connection problems, but yesterday I needed to access files from my work VPN but was unable to connect to my work VPN while connected to my TalkTalk Wi-Fi. I also tried via Ethernet cable directly to my TalkTalk router with Wi-Fi disabled but this did not work either. I then setup a mobile hotspot and this worked fine, but this is not a permanent solution.
Why has TalkTalk recently prevented this access, it does not make sense now when so many people still work from home.
Please can you provide a fix to this issue quickly?

I will need to make a change to your router firmware, when would be the best time to do this?
We advise to leave the router switched on without being rebooted whilst we update the firmware, this should take no longer than 15 minutes to update.
