What is my password?

My wife has been discharged from hospital with a "Virtual Ward" and needs a "password" to connect the supplied phone to our wifi. The only Code/Password I have is the "wireless key" on the back of the router and the password for my Talktalk online account. Any help appreciated.

Hi Alan,

Welcome to the Community. I can see that you've been pointed in the right direction, the migration team should be able to help with your query 🙂

It will still be a Shell migration support issue, @Alan1938.

The router is the original one supplied by "The Post Office" many years ago, it has a part no & also ZyXEL code as well as the wireless key

You'll need to speak to the Shell Migration team on 03451 720088 or Chat, after 9am, during the day, @Alan1938.

Forum staff are sending all Shell Migration issues to that specialist team.

I was originally with "the Post Office" which was taken over by "Shell" and then taken over by "Talktalk". Neither the wirelass key on the back of the router or my Talktalk account password work. I am at a loss as to what password is required.

It should be the wifi password on the back of the router unless you changed the network name and password within the router UI from your PC.

There will be 2 passwords on the back of the router. Make sure you are using the correct one.

If you wish, you can reset the router by using the pinhole on the back, which will revert the network name and password to math the reverse of the router, but any device you currently have connected may need to be connected sgain.

Please remember to mark Solved Posts with Best Answer. Doing so helps other customers and saves TalkTalk's Support Team time by only looking at unsolved topics. Thanks, Steve (a fellow customer).
