Wifi trouble

I have been unable to connect my device to my main WiFi but it manages to connect to my wifi extender also I have contacted talk talk for hours and nothing can be resolved I have done absolutely everything possible to try and connect but nothing I have a really good device it days everythign is connected but I have a red broadband light on
