Hi, it seems whenver i work from home, my built in VPN does not connect properly, i have read other threads where the issue was resolved by updating firmware on router.
Is this something that can be done for me?,
thank you

Hi Sam
If you log into the router admin page (using the password from the back of the router)
FirewallDashboard > See Wi-Fi Settings > Manage Advanced Settings > Access Control > Firewall.

Hi Sam
Thanks for your reply, apologies for this.
Could you try changing the firewall level (in the router settings) to medium?

Morning Debbie,
apologies for going dark, turns out, switching the router off did not resolve the issue.

Hi sam_ash
Thank you. Your router firmware is the correct version that should work ok with VPN.
Have you tried powering down the router for 30 minutes?

Hi sam_ash
Apologies, do you have a FTTP connection? Please can you add your FTTP order number to your Community Profile?
Alternatively you can also send me a Private Message with the serial number from the back of your router.
Thanks

Hi sam_ash
I'm sorry to hear this.
Please can you add your TalkTalk landline number to your Community Profile, we can then take a look at this for you.
Thanks
Debbie
