TalkTalk Wi-Fi Hub version SG4K100130:      i do have a few problems with my wifi tv disconnecting occasionally so i went onto the site to check and there was a message , " it looks like your router software needs updating. i went on chat and someone told me that it would update automatically so i logged off chat. nothing so today i went on chat and was told when i reset my router it would automatically update, it didnt. i rang and after a phone call was told that i had the latest version ( i dont think i have got the latest version) the person on the phone couldnt tell me either the latest version or which version i have. is this normal practice? . i just wish they would email the firmware and i could update it myself. does anyone have any ideas ? thanks (sorry about the novel)

Hi johnbod

This firmware is one of the latest firmware versions but our Products Team will be rolling out a firmware update to 136 over the next couple of weeks.

Please can you leave your router powered up all the time. The firmware update is usually rolled out overnight.

Thanks

Hi @johnbod,

You do have a recent version of firmware, but not the latest, the latest is SG4K100136. there is no way for you to install it yourself, but the support team here on the community may well be able to push it out to your router when they return next week.

For one of the TalkTalk Support Team on this community to be able to look into this you will need to update your community profile to include your name, landline telephone number that your TalkTalk service is provided on & an alternative contact number. This will allow them to identify you, and they will then be able to help.

Don't post any personal details in this thread, just add them to your community profile (only you and the TalkTalk Support Team on this community can see your profile details).
