iPhone looses connectivity to the Talktalk Wi-Fi

Both of our iPhones (12 and 14) loose connectivity to the Wi-Fi on a regular basis. This doesn’t happen on any other Wi-Fi networks. Turning off and on Wi-Fi on the phone resestablishes the connection but it is happening many times a day. Have tried turning the router off and leaving it 20 minutes before switching it back on and it still happens. Have seen other threads experiencing this issue but not seen a resolution. Help please?

Router arrived and has been installed for 48 hours. Not had the issue since it was installed. I am hopeful that this has solved the problem.

thank you for your help

Morning MikeF6

I'm sorry for the delays.

There appears to be an issue with the router order. As soon as I have more information back from our Warehouse Team then I will keep you updated.

Hi @MikeF6

The only resolution we have at the moment is to send a WIFI hub 2 router, would you like me to send this router?

Hi Mike,

I can see that Divsec has offered you some advise, can you also please update your community profile to include your:

  • Name
  • Telephone number
  • Alternative contact number

We'll then look into this further. Please do not post this information on this thread. Once you've updated your profile please post in your topic to confirm it's updated.

Thanks

Chris

Hi @MikeF6 I would suggest using the guest option on your router for your phone's and having either 2.4 or 5 GHz channel disabled  and seeing if either produces a better performance

I don't work here and all my opinions are my own.
