I have just received this modem but there is no usb port to connect my Hive unit what can  do

Hive heating control units communicate with the router via wifi.   Were you using a previous router's USB port to power the hub ?      If yes - then you should now  use a plug in USB power supply (rated to supply at least the amps the hub requires).

USB ports have not been available on TalkTalk routers for a long time now. They were there to support backup storage via a USB disk. This utilised the SMB (Server Message Block) protocol V 1.0, which is very insecure these days. Where file sharing is done these days (OK, not in your case, probably), it is best done via IP networking to a NAS server.
