pptp vpn is not working

good morning,

 

i have a problem getting into my work computer i believe its talk talk that are blocking the pptp vpn, please can i log this an an urgent matter

I will need to make a change to the router firmware, will it be ok if I do this update now? (this morning)

 

We advise to leave the router switched on without being rebooted whilst we update the FW. This should take no longer than 15 minutes to update.
