i have been told since a recent firmware update the superfast hubs will not allow some people to connect via a works vpn, im currently working from home and am unable to connect to my works server, can i get a new router sent out

Apologies for this. Our Products Team are investigating a potential issue with the firmware.
I have ordered you a different router, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.
Let us know how the connection compares with this router.

Ok, there have been several customers that have had issues using the built in windows VPN with the new Sagemcom firmware, the staff here may just suggest that they send you a router of a different type (the Huawei Hub).

The vpn is set up through windows by out IT department It works while connnecting to family members Sky and Vodafone, Wifi and mobile phone hot spot, but connect at home via my talk talk router.

Presumably you have the Sagemcom Wi-Fi Hub ?
Can you confirm what VPN software you are trying to use.
The staff here should hopefully be able to reply tomorrow, and will be able to arrange a replacement router if they think this is necessary.
