I have an email saying that I can’t send or receive mail until I validate my account.

Is this as am?

Hi Bathspyder, what email was it sent from? Yes it's probably a scam, but if in any doubt please don't open any links in the mail.

........... and have you tried sending, and receiving an e.mail - to yourself maybe - as a means of checking the validity of the above statement Bathspyder?
