Ask us about your TalkTalk email account and Webmail.

Since talktalk webmail has been updated again, every time I delete an email a popup message appears at the bottom of the screen
A trash can symbol, next to that "Email ********" Deleted, next to that "Undo" in a blue box.
How do I get rid of this annoying feature?
One feature I would like is Create email as one of the headers like trash, mark as spam etc.
A one click action rather than going into address book to compose one.

Got this from dave2319 :
I figured out how to hide it, but no thanks to TalkTalk who should obviously have an option to do so.
You can use the extension uBlock Origin, which is a very good content blocker. Just right-click on whatever you want to hide, choose "Block element..." and whichever line you want under "Cosmetic filters", then click the button to create.
I mainly use my pc with windows to access mail and it works fine with that , but not tried with my android phone, just thought it was an inbuilt thing to let me know if I was was deleting in error, safeguard if you like. Please give it a go and let me know .

I've got the same annoying population on my taljtalk mail, which I access via an Android phone, using a shortcut from the Talktalk email app.
This has only been happening since you sent an update, and it should be removable, or allow the client to disable it.
Yet again Tt doing what they want and sod the end user....

I agree with Buzzjohn. That pop-up to confirm deleting an email is very annoying and there should be an option to remove it. Crazy in this day and age if there isn't.
Especially since, as mentioned, you can still fish them out of the Trash folder if need be.
It's the kind of annoyance that makes me think about using a different email provider, because who wants annoying pop-ups?!

Hi buzzjohn, I'm afraid I have no control over the development of software of any of our products. They are what they are. I've passed on your comments for what that's worth.

Ady,
that doesn't answer my question.
Since i'm using apps.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite and it's only because an update has caused this, I should be able to disable this in settings for my convenience.
Yes this Undo box appears when I use googlemail as a talktalk client and always has but never on my pc usingapps.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite.
Any deleted mail goes into trash anyway, so if i delete by mistake it can be dragged back to inbox.

Hi buzzjohn, the delete confirmation is a protection device to avoid mail being deleted in error. You could avoid it using a mail client.
