App password for use on new Microsoft Outlook. I can't install my iCloud email without an app password on the new Microsoft Outlook.

Anybody help?

'You only need to create an app password if you have Microsoft Account two-step verification turned on and are using a device that doesn't support it.'

'App password'. Is that something that Apple issues to allow you to set your iCloud email account as one of the accounts within Microsoft Outlook? If so, why don't you ask Apple to issue one?
