HI
Pre-upgrade, days with appts were in bold in the calendar's monthly view. This doesn't happen post-upgrade, on my laptop or my Android phone. I rely on being able to check my monthly view & know immediately which days I have appts. Since the upgrade, I have to trawl through each week...which is an utter nightmare on my phone, because the daily display there is HORRIBLE...tiny & squashed.*
I read in Settings help that appts could be colour-coded, but that's only for the actual entry on the day. I NEED a way of highlighting any day with an appt with bold or a different colour on the monthly view so I can check them out at-a-glance. Is this possible? And if not, why not...why lose a valuable feature which makes the "upgrade" less effective??
(*Also....is it possible to get rid of the swathes of greyed-out non-work hours so the display on my phone isn't quite so squashed??)
I'd be eternally grateful if anyone can suggest a solution!! Many thanks

It's definitely a desktop view. Have you looked at the browser settings via the triple vertical dots menu top right to see if Desktop site is ticked?

Nope...that screenshot is from my Samsung A12. I had to go thru hoops to change from the jpg to an acceptable format - but all from & on my phone

What you're showing me in your screenshot is the top left corner of a desktop browser view. Yes, what you see there is the current day highlighted in red on the mini calendar. Scroll right and you'll have the full month on view including coloured appointments.
The mini calendar for a desktop device only is toggled on and off via the cog wheel setting icon top right of screen and the Calendar options to Show mini calendar - if ticked.
The desktop browser view on a mobile device will show the whole month display just the same as a desktop device. But what's intended is that a mobile device will use a browser in mobile mode not desktop mode. I've described the key differences between a desktop device and a mobile device display using a browser in mobile mode.

Thanks for your quick reply, Gondola. I think we're talking about a different monthly view. Please see screenshot for the one I meant. I almost always use my phone to check my calendar - I generally used to go to the whole-month page as attached & then I knew which date to check out because all dates with an appt were in bold. I've got loads of appts this month, but the only highlighted day is the current day.
The greyed-out issue isn't about a whole month view, but a couple of days. Half the time it shows from, say 2 am & I have to scroll down through the greyed-out areas to find the only bits I need to see. Would be much easier if I had the option of only seeing my work hours. Not the end of the world, I know, but it - along with the month issue - makes me feel this 'upgrade" has not been optimised for mobile view.
So pls ignore the greyed-out issue...probs something I'll have to get used to! But any further advice on the month-view issue would be gratefully received! Many thanks.

The display on a mobile browser is different to a desktop browser. But starting with the laptop and a desktop browser view.
The appointment title is in bold and each appointment can be colour coded. On a desktop browser the whole of the appointment block is in colour and this is replicated in the monthly view. The whole month is viewable and the only bits greyed out are days for the adjacent months.
The mobile browser view does not show a whole month at a time in detail but rather a day or two on a scrollable swipe up and down view. So to go through each 30 days or so on a mobile screen view the mobile held in portrait mode and it's just a few swipes up to go from today to look for new appointments. The colour coding is a coloured vertical bar to the left of the appointment title that is in bold.
Perhaps you're not seeing what I'm seeing? Screenshots are good. Just redact any personally identifiable data before uploading here.
