I have received an email saying that I am behind in paying for my McAffee account.
I have NEVER opened any account with McAffee so I don't see how I owe them money'
Furthermore my email has not worked for some months nows - I can receive emails okay but if I try to send any emails I get a message that says I cannot send email as my email account is blocked.
I no longer pay TalkTalk for email services as I am with SKY but no-one seems to be able to explain how email accounts work.

@douglaal1, the note about McAfee is a scam so report it as phishing, mark it as Spam, and delete it.

@douglaal1 I am sorry for everything you have experienced so far, I will be able to explain this to you, but first I will need to ask you a few questions.
1. Did you have an active broadband account with TalkTalk while you were still with us or were you just paying us for the email service on its own?
2. Did you receive any communications to sign up to a paid email service (Every mail)?
TalkTalk mail plus customers and non-broadband customers have been migrated to every mail, if you don't have broadband with TalkTalk, you will be required to sign up to every mail in order for your email to return to normal functionality.
