Is there a problem again with Talk Talk server? Email pop up boxes have started appearing again using Talk Talk via MS Outlook on a desktop pc?
Since last friday 18th I started receiving pop ups every few minutes as attached screenshot.
I haven't changed any settings or tried to change anything myself.
Any help would be appreciated.

The common factor appears to be the use of Outlook. As to the root cause that's not positively identified. Most users seem to be experiencing this issue in the run up to a mailbox being migrated to the new mail platform.

Hi Gondola,
In common with other users, the pop-up box has reappeared this morning.
What is the latest news in resolving this issue?

Hi Gondola,
I'm using Chrome and since your last email checking the server details are correct, as of now, the pop up boxes have stopped appearing.
I'll check again in the morning when I start again and let you know.
I don't know if you did anything, but thanks in advance!

The Outlook incoming and outgoing server settings are fine.
Is Outlook now working? I ask because there are a flurry of others indicating potential issues with Outlook. I have been monitoring using Thunderbird and have not as yet observed any connectivity / password issues.

Hi Gondola,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I can confirm that webmail sends and receives emails ok. I didn't receive any email from TalkTalk about server migration, at least not that I can remember.
Attached are 3 images showing the server settings in Outlook- hope these help!
If you have any suggestions or if these settings are now out of date etc, please let me know.

Hi nottoc
I've removed the image from your post and placed it in your Community images Hidden folder to protect your personal data.
The error messages suggest that Outlook is not connecting to the TalkTalk Mail servers. If associated with the mailbox migration to a new mail platform then any outage would be minimal.
You could check your webmail to see if migration has happened. TalkTalk would have sent an email notification prior to the migration.
Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail
Enter your full TalkTalk Mail email address, select Continue and enter the password, select Sign in.
That's just to check on the status of your mailbox as well as being able to sign in successfully. You may wish to check sending and receiving from there just to prove the mailbox is working as expected.
We ought to check on the incoming and outgoing server settings in Outlook to make sure they're up to date. Take screenshots, image edit to obscure the first part of your email address and upload here using the camera icon above this Reply area.
