Emails going into spam

Hi just recently when I log into the forum or my account using an activation code the code goes into the spam folder, any notifications of replies in the forum go into spam too, It's a new problem any ideas ? Needs a fix ASAP

OK, very good.

(I wonder why TalkTalk made an exception for you.

The rest of us had to subscribe to a non-TalkTalk email address, in order to be able to login to  the main TalkTalk MyAccount.)

One of the steps which I had in mind, does not apply then.

 

To get your TalkTalk Community verification code, going to your Inbox folder, instead of your Spam folder:

Open TalkTalk webmail at https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite/

At the top, click the Cogwheel --> click 'All settings' --> Scroll down --> Click 'Access lists' --> you will default to 'Allowlist' --> Click 'Add new address'
--> Enter "myaccount@myaccount.talktalk.co.uk" in the message box --> Click 'Add'

--> Click 'Add new address' again

--> Enter "no-reply@community-notifications.talktalk.co.uk" in the message box --> Click 'Add'
--> Exit the the 'Mail screen'

 

TalkTalk calls this 'Allowlisting'.

I think this should work. It works for me.

No, I meant how do you login to your main TalkTalk MyAccount,  not any 'my account'

I am asking this, because most customers had to change about 2 years ago, to use a non-TalkTalk email address, instead of a TalkTalk email address to login to the main TalkTalk MyAccount.

Hi, I log into my account using a Tiscali email address, which I guess is a Talktalk email address. Even notifications from the community go into spam, it seems to be a common problem, it's very annoying especially as we were told its an improved service ! In effect Talktalk are treating notifications from themselves as spam it seems bizarre.

I've had a similar issue recently.

Can you please tell me,

how do you login to your main TalkTalk MyAccount,

using a TalkTalk email address, or non-TalkTalk email address e.g. gmail.com, outlook.com, etc?

If non-TalkTalk email address, which one?
