I have received only a couple of emails in the past 24 hours. Is there a problem with talktalk webmail?

Hi there @fr8ys, please note we currently don't have any updates regarding any outages, so we follow process. All I can do at the moment is run checks and if that does not fix the issue we escalate so the back-office team can have a look into it. Thanks

@siphosethu-TT there is no outage as yiu quite rightly say, but as I understand it there are issues with mail at the moment. I too am affected.
I raised this a few weeks ago with the forum manager on the following issues.
1 mail sent from TalkTalk domains sent to Hotmail and Gmail addresses ending up in recipients spam folders.
2 emails sent by Hotmail and Gmail user to TalkTalk domain ending up in spam folder
3 (this issue) emails sent by companies such as banks and building societies being returned to sender and therefore not being received at all. Customers are normally only aware when they get letters regarding non email delivery.
I raised this under my own thread yesterday and it has again been referred along with some technical questions I raised.
I've yet to see an individual issue relating to this being fixed, but you may have more knowledge than I as some threads are dealt with privately, which if so could you please share.
I know Microsoft and Google are looking into this along with the TalkTalk team regarding 1 & 2, but there has so far been no feedback regarding the rejected mails from various inst so an update would be appreciated.
Many thanks.

Good idea to only put the email address in Private Notes or in a PM.
Please don't ask for the first part of an email address in any public thread - it's happened a few times recently in support threads, and it wouldn't need much brain for a scammer to pick up the address, especially if the later part has already been established.
Copying in @Lorrainef and @Nicolene-TT as it is important for feedback

Just to confirm are having issues with company domains only or are you having problems receiving emails from everyone, or just an individual or single domain name (e.g. @gmail.com)?

Yes, other TalkTalk customers can see it. Please send the email as a private message, I'll send you a private message to make things easier on you. Thanks

Are we having this discussion as a private conversation? Can other talktalk customers see it?

Could you please tell me the last part of your email address? This is the section after the @ symbol.
For example, it might be talktalk.net or tiscali.co.uk.

Online it says originally 10 but the latest update is 12. I always accept updates, so assume now it's 12. Where might I find it actually noted on my device?
on 05-11-2025 11:06 AM
Whether it's an Android 10, 11 or latest.
on 05-11-2025 11:05 AM
Can you tell me the version of the operating system on your devices used?
on 05-11-2025 11:03 AM

I need to know what device are you using when accessing your email?
on 05-11-2025 10:50 AM
I am able to access the internet. I've tried several sites and didn't have a problem.
on 05-11-2025 10:41 AM
Can you check your TalkTalk Internet access for me now and let me know if it works? You can do this by trying to reload the site or application you were experiencing problems with, or trying to search for something on the Internet.

Allow me to run checks on this. Thanks
