This started last night. Error code 453 4.2.0 - too many receipients. The most I send to is maybe four at a time and this is only a couple of times per week. I am also getting a TT605 code. This maybe because im abroad and logged in and out etc

You commented to another member "I sorted out the two connected iPhones by updating settings but the laptop was different. I had to delete Google chrome and it worked. I think there is some issue somewhere as well and I don’t suspect this is the last of it"
It would be good to know what settings you updated on the iPhones and what the new settings are.

Spam protection is always evaluating the risk of spam entering the TalkTalk network. Perhaps the overseas network you're connecting to is now considered in the high risk category?
In relation to the use of VPN's and emails always set the VPN to use a UK based host server. If the TalkTalk Mail system detects an overseas host server as the access point then the same scenario as you're now in may apply. Also don't have concurrent connections via your home broadband and via a VPN because the system may flag an issue with geographic separation of the access points i.e. it thinks you cannot be in two widely separated places at the same time.

Hi Thanks for the reply. Why this all of a sudden. I have been doing the same for four years Did anything change yesterday?
I had a VPN once on my apple phone and that mucked up the emails so I had to take it off and then it all worked again?

TT605 means that your sending has been rate limited because you're sending from an overseas network that the TalkTalk Spam Protection process considers is a high risk location for sending spam.
From such locations what users would normally set up is either a UK hosted VPN so it looks like you're connecting from the UK or use an alternative email address like Gmail that has world wide servers and let your contacts know that you'll be using that whilst away from home.
