I have the same issue, I am in the UK, no overseas network. anyone any other ideas? like villa123 started last night. one minute I could send emails and next I couldn't. don't know if its a coincidence but it started when I opened my laptop.
any help appreciated - Talktalk chatline us shut now.

thanks for your reply (I can only see them on email not on this thread). I'm on a MacBook Pro with safari , I am not very tech savvy these days, will have to get someone else to look at it for me. something wrong in the background.

I sorted out the two connected iPhones by updating settings but the laptop was different. I had to delete Google chrome and it worked. I think there is some issue somewhere as well and I don’t suspect this is the last of it
Try these two things. Hope it works for you

I can send from webmail, and the error message on my iPhone and laptop says the passwords are wrong but they are all correct across the three devices

thanks for the reply gondola, I have not been sending loads of emails with lots of recipients at all, so the limit cannot be exceeded. shall I just stop trying to send for 24 hours as you suggest?
it seemed to happen when I opened my laptop which I don't use every day and tried to send an email from there. is it something to do with the synchronisation between laptop, iPad and iPhone that makes it think I'm sending loads of emails. it has never happened before

So, not the same as the issue reported by member villa123.
TT502 means your mailbox sending has exceeded a daily limit on recipient numbers. This is usually hundreds of email recipients. So, there's a temporary limit on sending that will be fully reset in 24 hours assuming no more mail messages are sent in the meantime.
