Ask us about your TalkTalk email account and Webmail.

I've been receiving emails saying I need to pay for everymail. I'm still with TalkTalk but it seems it needs "linking" to the account currently used for broadband.
I've followed the information in this article: https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Email/Lost-access-to-your-E-mails-Please-read/td-p/3115859
I've put all information in the private notes.
Is someone able to help with this?

I do have a broadband account, but it's not linked to the email at all. Will I receive any sort of confirmation if the communications are stopped?

@QuantumJelly, since your emails are working fine at the moment you don't need to do anything, i understand that you are receiving communications to move to a paid email service however as you have a broadband account you would not need to, i will escalate this for you so that you stop receiving communications.

Thank you for confirming that for me, I'm just taking a look for you.

The email is currently working fine.
In the past (around 9 months ago) the email was blocked from sending emails. This was resolved at the time.
I have received emails saying unless I pay, the email will be stopped.

Hi @QuantumJelly I just need to check do you experience any restrictions using the email or is it working perfectly fine?
on 26-01-2026 08:04 PM
I have 1 account which is currently used for broadband.
I have another account which is used for email, only 1 email address.
I need the email to be linked to the 1st account to ensure I don't have to pay for the email access.
All account details are in my private notes on my profile.

Hi there @QuantumJelly, allow me to look into this for. Please make sure you don't subscribe to that email okay. Will just need to link your emails, is it one email address that's giving you issues?

@QuantumJelly, staff will now respond after the weekend - hopefully still in time!

Hi, have not lost access yet however, receiving emails saying I will if I don't pay - but I shouldn't be paying as I'm still with TalkTalk, just with a different account. Unsure when I will lose access. Thanks.

@QuantumJelly just to confirm you have lost complete usage of your emails?
on 22-01-2026 10:24 PM
Staff will respond during the day (Monday to Friday), @QuantumJelly.
Yes, linking your legacy email address to your current Talktalk broadband service is a must for you to continue using it.
Look out for staff replies during the day.
