Mail from gmail is not being received

I have been having the same issue as others with gmail not being received.  This has been happening for around the last 3 or 4 days and also with some other emails such as @Birmingham.gov.uk and is really frustrating.  I use Outlook as my email client but the missing mail is not even arriving in my talktalk web mail box.

And why on earth do we have to wait until Monday (as stated by some) before this issue is taken seriously and sorted.  No reason why this shouldn't be looked at immediately - we live in a 24/7 world and the money that we all oay for the service should include immediate attention when there is a problem.   Shame on TalkTalk

Hi all, We’re aware that some of our customers are having problems with their Tiscali email service. Tiscali customers are currently unable to receive emails from Gmail. Senders from Gmail are reporting getting the error message 'The MX host does not match any MX allowed by the STS policy'.

This issue only seems to be impacting email clients (outlook for example), customers using our webmail service aren’t reporting issues. 

Our team are working hard to get things back up and running, please check back here for updates.

@johnkes, if you use the community forum, staff support is Monday to Friday. 

 

If you phone Talktalk Monday to Saturday, after 9am, there's support till the early evening, but not for this sort of issue on Sundays. 

 

So between now and Monday you can try Chat, live from 9am on Sunday.
