Does archiving Mail save Mailbox space? And can I retrieve this mail?  I am nearly at my limit in my inbox which is 10GB.

Which mail client are you using? A quick Google search will give you details on backing up/exporting emails.

Thanks Ady,  but I need a specific answer to my question....i.e  How and where do I export my mail to?   Does putting the mail in the archive folder do this?   and if so...can the mail still be retrieved?   If you are not talking about the archive folder...how do you export the mail and where to?

Hi EPD62, you have a total mailbox size of 10gb. If its nearly full you'll need to export the mail away from the mailbox to keep it.
