I've been informed by the sender, Groups.io, that emails sent to me are being 'bounced'. The common theme seems to be in the content deferred part of 'mx.tiscali.co.uk: 452 4.2.0 CwyjsjSxAVSTgCwyksfCGB Content deferred (TT991)'. Some of the ones they send do however get through. All their emails used to get through, this has only been happening since 25 May.
Apparently (TT991) means that the message has been flagged for scanning. The emails in question don't appear in my spam folder so what can I do to ensure I receive them?

Simple text message sent successfully. Tried to send one with the list of bounced emails copied from my gropus.io account but that failed to send after I'd accepted that the html content had been removed with the "You have reached the limit for number of private messages that you can send for now. Please try again later." message.

P.S. Is there any way to stay logged in to this forum? Every time I want to reply or post I'm asked to log in with my email address and enter the 6 digit code I'm sent.

Thanks Ady. The bouncing of groups.io emails to my lineone.net address doesn't seem to be happening nearly as often now, I think the last time was one message on 6 Jun. If you manage to sort my PM sending issue I'll send you the latest list anyway.

I'm trying to help but I'm still getting the message "You have reached the limit for number of private messages that you can send for now. Please try again later."
This is patently absurd. Let me have an email address that I can send the list of bounced emails to and I'll gladly let you have it.

I've raised an incident for this issue as several customers are reporting it. Initial responses were that the team couldn't replicated and I've gone back with the email addresses of those affected.

Where are we going with this? I can't understand why emails from groups.io that until around 25 May got through are now being bounced with the reason "Content deferred (TT991)" and I'm seemingly unable to do anything to ensure they get through again. Am I to understand from your previous reply that TalkTalk's email system can't deal with approx 20,000 emails from one sender?
One of the few reasons that I renewed my contract last time is that TT is one of the few ISPs that still provides an email service. If this bouncing continues much longer then I'm not going to be renewing my contract next time.

Hi AndyUK, I've run a 7 day scan for your registered email address, but its showing nothing. Groups.io however we're receiving over 20k mails some days and it seems they're being deferred due to the volumes.
